Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Free Trial Refunds

  • A two-week (14 days) free trial is offered to all new users.
  • No charges are applied during the trial.
  • If cancellation occurs within the trial period, no billing will occur and no refund is necessary.
  • If a user is mistakenly charged post-trial, they can request a refund, which will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

2. Standard Subscription Cancellations

  • All subscriptions renew automatically through our payment platform Razorpay.
  • Cancellations can be made at any time, and no further charges will be incurred after cancellation.
  • Service access will remain active until the conclusion of the current billing cycle.
  • Payments already processed are typically non-refundable, in line with standard industry practices.

3. Refund Exceptions (Goodwill or Disruption)

Exceptions (such as service disruption or billing error) may warrant consideration for partial or full refunds, or deferred billing, especially if access was impacted. Requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

4. Refund Request Process

Users must send refund requests via your registered email to support@deepshorts.ai. The request should include:

  • Account or subscription details
  • Reason for the refund (e.g., accidental charge, service issue, platform error)

Response and resolution (refund, billing adjustment, or deferment) will be communicated via email.

5. Timing & Processing

Refund processing time may vary depending on Razorpay and banking systems (typically a few business days). Delays may occur due to payment processor procedures.

6. Cancellation Flow & Feedback

During cancellation, we may present an optional feedback prompt (e.g., cost, lack of use, technical issues). This helps reduce churn and improve our offerings.
